Selected and manually harvested, the taggiasche olives are stored in brine. Their sweet and fruity flavor is much appreciated. Olives taggiasche owe their name to the town of Taggia in Liguria where monks have introduced this variety of olive so popular today. Many dishes are prepared with the Ligurian olives, especially the stewed meat or fish.
