BAK Red Wine

Bak is the first production obtained from an international grape.
It is harvested at the end of October after careful crop cutting. After the pressing the must ferments with skin contact for about three weeks. After the malolactic fermentation, this wine is transferred into into barriques for 8 – 10 months. It is then bottled and left to rest for about four months.

Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes

Organoleptic properties:  Ruby redcolour. Intense, characteristic and harmonic aroma with hints of ripened fruit, pepper and vanilla. Full, well balanced taste with an important but elegant  suite of tannins and a long finish.

Pairing and Serving: Bak is excellent with bush meat stew. It also pairs well with hard cheese or strong-flavoured cold cuts as bresaola or mocetta.

Serve at 16.18°C (60-64°F)

The vineyard where these grapes are farmed is located in Mombercelli. Its south-east facing position grants an excellent sun exposure.
