During the lunch, each dish has been served with Piemonte wines: Langhe Arneis d.o.c., Barbera d’Asti d.o.c., Barbera del Monferrato d.o.c., Barbera d’Alba d.o.c. and Barolo d.o.c.g. Since this is the period of harvest, our guests have tasted the Moscato grape, just picked from the vineyard, and a glass of Moscato d’Asti d.o.c.g
On September 8, we had the pleasure to welcome a group of Swiss choral for a wine and food tasting at Azienda Agricola La Trava, in Mango. The staff of Gusti d’Italia prepared some typical dishes of Piemonte: mixed salami, vitello tonnato (poached veal served cold in a tuna mayonnaise), anchovies in green sauce, little fresh cheese with green and red sauce, Italian omelette.
