The Casarecce is an artistic reinterpretation of a narrow, twisted rolled tube. Its name means “local, homemade” and was invented on Sicilia Island, making it the traditional pasta for the popular Sicilian pesto dishes.
The pasta is often used with meat sauces and works well in a variety of casseroles.
